Brother and sister team takes over Professional Auto Repair

Professional Auto Repair is under new ownership. Brian Brown and Tammy Coen acquired the business almost two months ago. Previous owner Shawn Pettis recently moved out of the area.

The business is a family owned endeavor; Brown and Coen are brother and sister. Brown has worked as a mechanic since age 18. He has been employed by several prominent dealerships, including Honda, Toyota and Mercedes. Tammy has been a resident of Bend for 25 years, while Brian has lived in Central Oregon for about eight years.

Prior to purchasing the business, Brown had been an employee of Professional Auto Repair for two years. He'll keep his hand in the trade working as a mechanic - but this time on his own.

"Brian wanted to progress as a mechanic and take another step toward becoming his own boss," said Coen.

The company will offer the same quality of automotive repair and maintenance established by its previous owners and provided by the employees of the company.

Brown and Coen are both very excited to be new business owners and hope to make a few alterations to better improve their recently acquired company.

The new owners will be moving the business to a new location. As of August 1 Brown and Coen will have relocated the business to 117 W. Sisters Park Dr. Though its physical address has changed, the two intend to keep the name and phone number of the business the same.

Brown and Coen will focus heavily on making customers happy.

"We want to work really hard on customer service. It's very important to us," said Coen.

Since falling under new ownership, the pace of business has continued to be brisk.

"Business is good. It's very, very hectic - which is great," said Coen.
