Sisters business at a glance

•Ashley Reed has joined Steele Associates Architects in Bend.

Reed, a graduate of Sisters High School, earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Portland.  Prior to graduating she had interned at Steele Associates, where her projects included Sisters City Hall.

She is also the owner of Cold Springs Interiors in Sisters.

•The Lodge at Suttle Lake is now serving brunch on Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are also offering prime rib from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sundays. For information call 595-2628.

•Pixie Dust Cottage is closing October 13. Stop by for early Christmas shopping at 317 W. Cascade Ave., from 12 to 5 p.m., Thursday through Saturday.

•Out West Designs is holding a beginner basics class in earrings from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, October 3. Call 549-1140 for reservations. Out West Designs is located at the corner of Hood and Elm.

•The Sisters Pumpkin Patch will be opening at C & C Nursery on September 29. There will be fun activities for the entire family with a jump house, hay maze, hay slide and refreshments. Call 504-5255 for hours and directions or to schedule a field trip.

•Metamorphosis Skin Care is welcoming make-up artist Candace Shirtey. Call owner Tami Jones, at 549-1784 to make an appointment.

•Sweetwater Skin Rejuvenation is opening its doors at 204 W. Adams Ave. Diane Trammel is offering corrective facials, body treatments, waxing and electrology. Her partner Beth Hummel will be offering massage. Call 848-7983 to make an appointment.
