Tell your romantic engagement story

Did you slip a ring on her finger looking out at a glorious mountain sunset? Or did you have "Will You Marry Me?" flashed on the scoreboard at a Duck's game? Did she find the ring at the bottom of her dessert dish - and chip a tooth?

Did she scream in delight or faint in the salad plate? Was it romantic? Sexy? Cute? Embarrassing? All at once?

Many folks have a romantic, fun or outrageous story to tell about their marriage engagement. Yours could win a prize and be published in The Nugget.

Enter The Nugget's Best Engagement Story contest and win: A night at FivePine Lodge, two tickets for a movie at Sisters Movie House, dinner for two at Jen's Garden. Your story will appear in the Sisters Country Weddings special section in the March 12 issue of The Nugget.

Entries may also be mailed to Nugget Engagement Contest, PO Box 698, Sisters, OR 97759 or dropped off at The Nugget office, at 442 E. Main, Sisters.

The deadline for all entries is midnight, Saturday, February 23. Story length must not exceed 500 words.
