Publication explores Sisters wedding services

Sisters is one of the region's premier wedding destinations, and it's easy to see why. With the romantic backdrop of stunning scenery and many options for venues and lodging, Sisters is the perfect place to tie the knot.

Sisters Country Weddings, published by The Nugget, details the wide array of options and services available to wedding parties in the Sisters area. This special section appears as a full-color insert in the March 12 edition and will also be found at locations throughout Sisters.

Prospective couples will find every resource they need for their wedding among the array of advertisers in Sisters Country Weddings, from ministers to wedding planners, from venues to caterers and hair stylists.

Sisters Country Weddings features the winning entry in The Nugget's engagement story contest.

"Janet Zuelke's humorous, poignant and romantic tale of her beau Forrest Babcock's unique means of presenting a ring was the winning entry among a dozen fine tales," said editor Jim Cornelius.

Zuelke and Babcock won dinner for two at Jen's Garden and tickets for a date at Sisters Movie House. FivePine Lodge & Conference Center donated a night's stay at one of the resort's romantic cabins.

Sisters Country Weddings also offers detailed stories with information about how to get the most from your wedding photography, how to get in shape for the big day, managing wedding etiquette and more.
