Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A 58-year-old Sisters man was arrested for violating a restraining order after he was found watching his ex-wife through binoculars to see if she was selling off his assets. The man scuffled with responding deputies.

• Deputies arrested a 28-year-old man for fourth degree assault and interfering with a 911 call after the man fought with his father.

• A bike was reported stolen.

• Deputies investigated an anonymous report of juveniles smoking marijuana, but were unable to locate the subjects.

• Deputies notified the owners of "for sale" vehicles that it is against city ordinances to display them for sale on the streets.

• A deputy looked into a report of possible mail theft. It was unfounded.

• A woman found a chestnut horse on Forest Service land across from her property. She took the horse in. It appears to be in good shape.

• Juveniles were reported riding dirt bikes on a posted private lane. A deputy discussed the matter with kids and parents, who were cooperative.

• Deputies responded to a request for a welfare check on an elderly man with a history of heart problems. He had not turned out his horses as usual. He was fine, but annoyed at being awakened.

• A deputy responded to a local home to put down a deer found injured in the yard.
