Sisters sheriff's calls...

•A Jeep collided with a log truck on Highway 20 east of Sisters near the viewpoint. Remarkably, there were only minor injuries.

•Deputies and a Black Butte Ranch Police officer made a warrant arrest at a Sisters apartment complex.

•Cattle got out of a pasture and damaged hay and irrigation lines nearby. The cattle's owner blamed the county for cutting the fence that held the cattle in, but was able to offer no proof on that score.

•A woman hit a man on the head with a bottle in a bar. No one is sure why, but she seemed to think the man was trying to drag her off into a bathroom. Copious quantities of alcohol appear to have been a factor in the incident, which led to only minor lacerations on the victim's head and the woman's hand.

•A woman reported that her brother grabbed her hair and hit her head on the wall.

•Deputies responded to a complaint about an erratic driver. Turned out the man had a serious medical problem. He was transported to the hospital via AirLink.

•A woman was cited for trespassing for riding her horse across private property.

•Deputies arrested a man on a parole violation. He allegedly violated a no-alcohol clause.
