• Beginning October 1, the Enhancement Center at High Desert Hair will be offering botox and skin fillers the first Wednesday of each month. They will also be offering non-surgical face lift, laser skin rejuvenation and laser skin removal. Call 541-317-4894 for more information.

• Cascade Storage of Sisters has 27 new storage units available now at 581 N. Larch St. (across from the new post office). They are offering specials for new customers. For more information, call 549-1086.

• A Joyful Noise Learning Center will be holding a yard sale Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 to benefit their playground. Donations are sought for the sale and can be brought to the school at 104 E. Adams Ave. Contact Ms. Shonna at 549-2066.

• Michele Morseth of Sit The Trot is offering classes that will teach you a pain-free method to ride your horse in balance and confidence. Classes meet once per week and run four weeks. Contact Michele at 504-0494.

• As part of "Celebrate National Art and Framing Month" at High Desert Gallery, community members are invited to bring in a can of food (or more) to help stock the shelves of the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank. The gallery is located at 281 W. Cascade Ave.

• Sisters Rotary Club's Shots For Tots program served up 96 vaccination shots to 33 children last weekend.

• The auction at the Sisters Street Festival raised over $600 for Sisters High School art programs.
