Bank of the Cascades has just given the Sisters School District a $5,000 annual shot in the arm.
Each year, the commitment includes $1,000 each for Sisters High School, Sisters Middle School and Sisters Elementary School to be used for academic programs as determined by the principal of each school. It also includes $2,000 for athletic programs at Sisters High School to be determined by the athletic director.
The total commitment is for $15,000.
"The health and vitality of the Sisters community is important to us," said Joy Caswell, branch manager, Bank of the Cascades Sisters branch. "Despite today's challenging economy, we're committed to supporting educational and athletic opportunities for all students."
