Big mistakes were costly in the Outlaws 14-0 loss at home against Junction City (JC). Sisters was intercepted four times and had six fumbles in the contest. The Outlaws also had seven opportunities inside the 20-yard line and couldn't get it into the end zone.
Sisters fumbled the ball in the opening kickoff of the third quarter and JC recovered the ball and ran down the field to score. Two plays into the Outlaws' next possession, JC intercepted the ball and scored again to take a 14-0 lead.
The Outlaws defense did a great job and held JC to 133 yards of offense. According to Coach Dusty Macauley the defense had their best game of the year. Sisters finished with 335 yards of total offense.
In last week's action, the Outlaws earned a 34-16 victory at Pleasant Hill and racked up 417 yards of total offense. Chase Klient was 12-14 for 150 yards and two touchdown passes, one to Levi Rowe and one to Randy Ketchum. Klient also had 18 carries for 100 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown. Klient was named Athlete of the Week.
The Outlaws are currently 1-1 in league and 4-1 overall. Sisters will travel to Henley on Friday, October 3.
