• Sisters Coffee Company welcomes the community to "Free Soup Night" on Friday, October 17, at 6 p.m. Bring some bread and come have dinner with the locals at 273 W. Hood Ave.

• Alpaca by Design has expanded to carry rugs and jewelry. The heirloom rugs are woven using fiber from local-area alpaca herds and are available in a variety of colors and sizes.
