Planners to hear bid for major Sisters hotel

Plans for a major hotel at Pine Meadow Village will go before the Sisters Planning Commission on December 18.

The hearing will be held at Sisters City Hall at 5:30 p.m.

Architects Van Lom Group and Celia Hung, owner of Sisters KOA, are seeking approval to construct a 92-room hotel, including an indoor swimming pool, massage services, and administrative support.

The hotel is proposed in two phases; Phase 1 will incorporate 57 rooms (22 rooms and 35 suites) and all proposed hotel amenities, including the pool, lobby, massage and administrative services. Phase 2 is proposed to consist of 35 additional suites.

Comments may be made during the hearing or in writing prior to the hearing. A copy of the City's staff report and recommendation to the hearings body will be available for review at no cost at least seven days before the hearing.
