Bob Bliven of Sisters died on November 29. He was 76.
As per his request, there will be no services.
Mr. Bliven was born on September 21, 1932, in Salem, the son of Ralph and Mildred (Lewis) Bliven. He graduated from Salem High School. He married Lorena Beyerle on May 4, 1954, in Dallas, Oregon.
Bob owned and operated his own steel fabricating business in Amity for 30 years. He enjoyed target shooting, camping, fishing, woodworking and model railroading. He built and donated doll beds to The Kids Center, Salvation Army and COBRA in Bend for many years. Over 2,000 of them went to needy children all over Central Oregon.
Bob and Lorena retired and moved to the Sisters area in 1993.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sheila Reese of Cornelius; sons Gary and Bobby of Amity; granddaughter Katelynn of Amity; two grandsons, Ryan Reese of Cornelius and Alexander of Amity. He was preceded in death by both parents.
