Re: "Chasing deer is a bad idea," The Nugget, December 17, page 1):

It is a crime, maybe not in the legal sense, that this incident even took place. The fact that the kids were chasing the deer because they thought it was 'fun,' and it resulted in injury or death, is a crime. It seems to be a very 'cavalier' approach to this incident. Maybe some community service is needed by these 'kids having fun,' to realize they just took a life. So, would the deer had been killed if it 'turned' on these 'kids just having fun.' What a shame.
