• Bedouin is having an after-Christmas sale through the month of January. They are located at 143 W. Hood Ave.

• Sisters Church of the Nazarene is offering an eight-week "Peacemaking Workshop" on how to reduce stress and make peace in your home and workplace. Classes begin Wednesday, January 7, with two time options of 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. Call 389-8960 to register.

• Cork Cellars will be closed for a winter break January 1 through 19. Call 549-2675 for more information.

• Brand 33 will host a Dinner Dance on January 24. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. Dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. Group instruction is offered with special guest, Sue Leek.

• Realtor Kathy Hansbrough has just been granted the professional designation, GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute) by the Oregon Association of Realtors.

The GRI designation is a three week-long course of real estate finance, law, the Realtor Code of Ethics, taxation and communications skills. Kathy is a member of the Central Oregon Association of Realtors and is affiliated with RE/MAX Town & Country Realty.
