Betty was born in Port Angeles, Washington, to Kenneth and Canary Mullins.
She attended Tillamook Catholic High School for three years, then their family moved to Bend where she graduated from Bend High School in 1956.
On October 5, 1958, she married Ralph Neale Callison. Last year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. In 1974 Betty and Ralph moved to Sisters. Betty enjoying being a waitress most of her working career and retired from The Gallery Restaurant in 1989.
Following her retirement she became a special grandmother and great-grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her other interests included being an ardent Blazers fan, researching Web sites on basset hounds, and her love of dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Neale; son, Ken of Redmond; two daughters, Kathryn Callison of Modesto, California and Karole Toney of Sisters; and a sister, Carol Coray of Bend. Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 17, at Deschutes Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Contributions may be made to Sisters Habitat for Humanity.
