Sisters salutes...

Thank you to all the wonderful people who helped us during the last few months while our wife and mother was stricken with cancer. To all the people who brought meals, or flowers, who sent cards and letters, made get-well posters and chains, who came to visit Diane and shared their love and prayers. To the people who arranged the ceremony, who donated their time making it something Diane would have been proud of. To all these fine people and many more we offer our heartfelt thanks for their presence in our lives, especially in her last days.

A special thanks to Theresa Slavkovsky, Sally Benton and Cindy Uttley who were irreplaceable in Diane's last weeks and days. Thanks also to Mary Slavkovsky who stayed at Drew's bedside during his appendectomy, while I tried to juggle being both places at the same time. And to Judah Slavkovsky for being so medically knowledgeable, and making sure that Drew was well cared for.

Thank you, Greg Wieland for being the M.C. of the ceremony and to Roger Fairfield for his address on Psalm 23, Diane's favorite. Thanks also to Sandy Affonso of the Blue Spruce Bed and Breakfast for providing lodging and sustenance for Diane's and my families during this time.

To Jon Renner who put together the PowerPoint on Diane's life, it truly showed Diane at her best.

And special thanks to the Harvest Basket, Angeline's, and Sisters Coffee Co. for the refreshments.

To High Desert Gallery and Framing for all their work doing the displays and photo enlargements.

To Kara Calmettes and Boy Scout Troop 188 for all their work setting up and taking down the tables and chairs for the reception.

And thanks to the School District for using their facilities, and to the maintenance staff for all the extra work they had.

I could go on and on thanking the fine people who meant so much to Diane and mean so very much to our family, however I'm certain you know who you are, if I have left anyone out please know it wasn't intentional.

If you remember any of those fourth grade field trip songs please sing one in her honor, she'd like that!
