News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
I cannot believe where the Sisters Post Office ended up being planted. Could it be any more inaccessible?

To the Editor:
I attended a meeting at the Fire Hall on March 17 on the restoration of Whychus Creek (see related story, page 1). There was a select few, all they did was complain about the City of Sisters and the officials that run the city.
I served 27 years in the U.S. Navy, have lived all over the world and have not found a nicer community to live in. These people that run this city are hardworking, dedicated people that work very hard to do what is best for the whole community, not just a few.
This meeting was for the improvement of the creek and not an individual gripe session. Let's all pull together and work as a community and let the city workers to their job.
