The boys golf team took top honors with a team score of 342 at the Molalla Invitational, held at Arrowhead on Thursday, April 2.
The Dalles-Wahtonka was runner-up at 354 and Silverton took third at 362. Other scores in the tournament were: Molalla (372), Sweet Home (402), Blanchet (417) and St. Helens (420).
Cody Farr-Baenziger shot a 38 on the front nine and a 40 on the back for a score of 78 to finish second overall. Jonathan Standen recorded a 39/44 to score an 83. Jeff Fought carded an 86, Elio Keller a 95 and Aaron Simundson rounded out the scoring at 100.
Coach Jeff Barton told The Nugget that the greens were the fastest the Outlaws have seen all year and the entire team had all sorts of trouble with them.
"The course was extremely hard and we struggled, but so did everybody else," said Barton.
The Outlaws travel to Prineville on Thursday, April 9, for the Crook County Invitational, which will be held at the Meadow Lakes Course.
