Richard Martin Engstrom

Richard Martin Engstrom passed away on April 28, after a long battle with cancer. He was 57 years old.

Rich was born in Englewood, New Jersey on April 4, 1952, to Frank and Jean Engstrom.

In 1993, Rich and his daughter Katie moved from River Vale, New Jersey, to Sisters. Many people in Sisters knew Rich for his work as an insurance agent. In 2004, he married Marie Pacheco and moved to Yorba Linda, California.

Richard had a strong love for the New York Mets, and enjoyed helping others in need. He was a kind and compassionate man, and will be deeply missed.

Rich is survived by his wife Marie Engstrom of Yorba Linda, California, his daughter Katie Blodgett of Sisters; three stepsons; Alex and Jonathan Pacheco of Yorba Linda and Paul Lauer of Portland; his brother, Roger Engstrom, of Sisters; his two sisters, Amy Herd of Albany and Jill Current of Bend; and his parents, Frank and Jean Engstrom of Sisters.

Services were held in Yorba Linda, California, on May 5.
