Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A California man was arrested after a traffic stop yielded Ecstasy, LSD, pot and suspected hashish. He explained that he wasn't a bad guy, he just had a lot of drugs because he was headed for a Grateful Dead concert in the Gorge.

• An out-of-state man did severe damage to a golf cart at Aspen Lakes, apparently mistaking it for an off-road vehicle. It was obvious where he went off-roading; the cart has a GPS unit that gave a complete plot of his course.

• A kid was charged with fourth-degree assault after a punch-up on the baseball field. The father of the cited boy wanted to pursue charges or civil action against the other boy, but he got no satisfaction.

• A man insisted that his wife of 30 years be charged with assault after she slapped him in the face during a domestic dispute.

• A 39-year-old was arrested for drunk driving after he ran into a power pole and fled the scene.

• A woman reported that her purse was stolen from her car.
