Four lacrosse players earned all-league honors this season, including freshman Connor Morgan, who was selected first team all-league.
Morgan, who played long stick midfield, was the Outlaws' only first team all-league selection, a high honor for a freshman.
"Connor brought his A-game to practice every day and was a pleasure to coach," said Coach Bill Rexford. "He is our Tasmanian devil on groundballs...just a whirlwind of activity, a cloud of dust, and then Connor comes out of the pile with the groundball."
Seniors Lucas Reitmann and Jordan Kolb, and junior Billy Sampson all earned second team all-league recognition.
Reitmann played attack and was voted Best Offensive Player by his peers.
"Lucas played to his potential and was fearless out there," said Rexford. "I'm starting to think he actually likes getting whapped with the stick."
Kolb played attack and led the team in shots taken. Rexford told The Nugget when Kolb was on the field he was tenacious in making things happen for the team.
Sampson earned second team all-league on defense and was voted Best Defensive Player of the Year by his teammates.
"Billy's heady play made him a tough defender. He was able to combine his smarts and athletic ability to frustrate offenses and to clear the ball well. I'm glad he's a junior and one of next year's captains," said Rexford.
