• Katherine G. Smith, daughter of Tom and Jenni Smith, graduated December 8, 2008 from Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, Alaska. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science cum laude, with a major in fishery biology and culture.

She started school at Sisters Elementary School in 1991 and graduated from Madras High School with honors in 2004.
