Paintings of Whychus Creek featured in show

"Images from Whychus Creek " will be featured in a show running October 2- November 15 at Sisters Art Works, 204 W. Adams Ave.

In collaboration with the Friends of the Forest Foundation, The Roundhouse Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service, a group of painters spent a warm day on the banks of the Upper Whychus Creek in July.

The paintings that were done that day, and additional works by those plein air painters, will be featured. Artists include: Janet Guiley; Phil Bates; Kay Baker; Donna Simpson; Bob Rossio; Janice Druian; Norma Holmes; Paul Alan Bennett; and more.

Sisters Art Works is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by appointment. The show is free to the public
