The Lady Outlaws kept their winning streak alive with a win over Cottage Grove on Monday, October 5. Scores in the match were 25-15, 25-11 and 25-15.
Haylee Schaab led the Outlaws with 15 kills and four blocks, followed by Hannah Harrer who finished with seven kills and four blocks.
Jessie Snow had an outstanding performance, leading the defense with 21 digs. Snow got the entire team fired up when she ran 20 feet beyond the end line to retrieve the ball and then set up Sydney Stoneback for the third hit. Stoneback got it over the net and the Lady Outlaws continued to dominate play and control the pace of the game.
Courtney Satko had five kills on the night and freshman Megan Minke had five kills in the middle.
Setter Kaity Douglass dished out 34 assists on the night. Mary Jane Schulte did an amazing job at the service line, and in game three served up 17 in a row.
Three days later, Sisters beat Philomath at home in three straight sets in a non-league match. Scores were 25-19, 25-4 and 25-15.
Harrer led the Outlaws at the net with 13 kills and five blocks. Satko had four kills, Lizzy Carhart had three and Minke and Chelsie Reifschneider each added two. Snow led the Outlaws' defense with 15 digs.
The Outlaws played without Haylee Schaab, who was out due to illness.
Sisters is currently 6-0 in league and 22-3 overall.
