LaSalle scored their final goal in the second half on a penalty kick to secure the win.
"They got two penalty kicks, and they were both on questionable goals," said Coach Rob Jensen.
Jensen added, "LaSalle's a tough team but our guys played their hearts out and had a great season. They should be proud of themselves. They never let down."
Jensen noted the outstanding play of goalie Drew Harrison who played with composure and intensity throughout the entire game. Jensen also praised Kevin Marquardt for his work ethic and noted that he gave everything he had at midfield.
