Mary Theresa (Wolf) Houde

Mary Theresa (Wolf) Houde, of Bend, was called to heaven on November 9, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Salem on October 14, 1949 to Albert and Evelyn Wolf.

Mary was a creative person who enjoyed crafts, cooking, and spending time rummaging around any garage sale she could find. She will be remembered for her zest for life and her wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her partner, and best friend, Jack Melton; her mother, Evelyn Wolf; her children, James Woock (Ukiah), Timothy Woock (Jennifer), and Todd Ross (Lucinda); her siblings, Chuck Wolf (Jill), Tim Wolf (Cheryl), Annette Ehrenstrom (Ben), and Lisa Dirks (Larry). She also left behind nine grandchildren: Dylan, Ruby, Abigale, Macie, Evelyn, Athena, Zena, Gabriella and Lexa.

She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Wolf, sister Gloria Firstenberg, and sister-in-law Carolyn Wolf. Donations may be made to Partners in Care/Hospice House of Bend.
