Sisters business at a glance

•The Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce announces board election ballots will be mailed to members on December 1.

Qualified candidates must be a chamber member in good standing. Every member of the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce is allowed one vote; ensure your business receives a ballot, completes it, and submits it by the deadline (December 18, 5 p.m.).

Board members continuing their service through 2011-2012 are: Grant Cyrus; Elaine Drakulich; Lara Eckstine; Chuck Fadeley; Charles Kingsbaker (appointed in the fall of 2009 to fill a vacant seat); Kendra Littrell; Chris Mayes; Patty Vandiver.

Board members whose terms are completed in February 2010 include: Darren Layne; Kathryn Leavitt; Julia Rickards; Barbara Turner.

•A number Sisters businesses are changing locations.

Sisters Log Furniture moved last summer to the former location of Christmas Mountain Magic at 121 W. Cascade Ave.; Christmas Mountain Magic moved up Cascade to a location next to the Depot Café.

Alpaca By Design moved into the former Sisters Log Furniture site at 140 W. Cascade Ave. They are celebrating with a grand opening sale through the month of November.

Rainbow Connection took over Alpaca By Design's former space in Barclay Square (170 W. Cascade Ave. Suite 3&4). They are celebrating their "re-grand opening" on Saturday, November 28 with a sale and drawing.

Village Interiors is moving into the former home of Jennifer Lake Gallery at 370 E. Cascade Ave. on December 1. They are hosting a sale of home furnishings to facilitate the move.

Jennifer Lake is opening her gallery and Ms. Elizabeth Boutique in a new location next to Stitchin' Post.
