Larry Lewis passed away peacefully Friday, November 20. He was 58.
Born in Corydon, Iowa, to Willa and Eugene Lewis, he was a graduate of Sheridan High School, Wyoming, in 1969 and was honorably discharged from the Army in 1971. He married Linda Lewis in 1990 and they share three sons together.
Larry worked for GJ Miller Construction Co. for 25-plus years and was a master carpenter. He lent his talents to being a musician and an artist. He loved the solitude of fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, a brother, two sisters, wife, sons and grandchildren.
In Larry's words, "I've had a good run, made some mistakes but have tried not to intentionally hurt anyone."
A celebration of Larry's life was held at the Sisters Rodeo Grounds clubhouse Monday, November 23.
Contributions should be made to the James Lewis college fund at all branches of Bank of the Cascades.
