News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon

Santa Claus is comin' to town

Santa Claus may be one busy elf at this time of year, but he's finding plenty of time to make pre-Christmas visits to Sisters (Got to make that list and check it twice, you know...).

Santa made his first appearance in the Sisters Christmas parade, after which he sat with eager children to hear their Christmas wishes.

Last weekend, he took the time to hang out with folks' pets during Pet Photos with Santa at Sisters Art Works. Always one to support a good cause, Santa was happy to raise funds for the annual Furry Friends Pet Food Drive.

Santa will be visiting Sisters again this coming weekend. He'll join The Little Cloverdale Preschool for their annual Breakfast with Santa at FivePine Conference Center from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

He'll also enjoy breakfast at The Lodge Restaurant at Black Butte Ranch on Saturday, December 12, from 9 to 11 a.m.

(It's a feat of elf magic - just roll with it!)

Santa will return to Black Butte Ranch for breakfast on December 19.

And the jolly old elf will be visiting Sisters Drug & Gift the next two Saturdays, both December 12 and December 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for photos with the little ones. He's encouraging everyone to bring in one can of food, so he can deliver it to the Sisters Kiwanis Food Bank.

Then it's back to the North Pole to make sure the workshop is busy churning out all the treasures compiled on that long, long list of good boys and girls.
