•A woman reported her ex trying to contact her outside her business. She wanted him arrested, but he wasn't actually trespassing. The man said he and his ex have substantial debt and she won't talk to him about resolving issues.

A deputy talked to the man about the possible consequences of continued unwanted contact.

•A citizen reported a fraudulent charge to a credit card.

•A resident reported a car with a loud muffler cruising the neighborhood in a suspicious manner. Turned out a man got lost looking for his girlfriend's house, then parked "in the vicinity" due to the loud muffler.

The deputy escorted the man out of the area.

•A clerk at a local motel called to report that a 106-year-old man had checked in. The clerk wanted to be sure he wasn't a walkaway from an old-folks home or a missing Alzheimer's patient.

A deputy checked it out and found that the man was actually only 91 and he was clear of wants and warrants.
