Music duo to perform in Sisters

Jerry and Judy Price, of Sisters, will host The Hollands! at Sisters Coffee Company on Hood Avenue, Saturday, March 20.

On March 21 they are offering The Art of Word and Song, a songwriters' workshop, held in the Mountain View Room at Sisters Community Church, 1300 W. McKenzie Hwy. Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. with the workshop to follow. Call 541-549-1201 for information.

The Hollands! are comprised of married duo Jana and Craig Holland, who craft handmade music with a gypsy, folk-rock blend. Weaving poetic yet ground-level lyrics with brawny rhythms, their message is both visionary and authentic. They are eager to celebrate and share their original compositions with the Sisters community.

Hailing from the Midwest, Jana Holland is the American dreamer and the heart behind The Hollands! Jana's vocals are delicate and beautiful. Her deep minor tones and angelic voice offer solace to any who listen.

Craig Holland, a native of Melbourne, Australia, began his music career playing punk and hardcore, including a seven-year stint in Ballydowse, a Chicago-based Celtic punk band recorded by famed indie producer Steve Albini.
