News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Austin Erlandson, one of Sisters' outstanding young musicians who has impressed audiences with his electrifying guitar work, original compositions and his infectious voice, is set to play at Slick's Que Co. on Friday, April 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Erlandson, a senior at Sisters High School, has already recorded his first CD, entitled "Three Days." Slick's Que Co. is featuring Erlandson on its new stage so folks in Sisters have the opportunity to see the musician in a small and more intimate setting.
"There are so many people that read about Austin in the media but would probably never get the chance to see this kid before he's off to Nashville and without a doubt, quickly opening for other legendary musicians," Slick's Que Co.'s owner, Roy Slicker, said. "With our new music venue here, we just felt that it was good timing to book him in here so that people could see why Austin is worthy of all the attention."
Slick's Que Co. is located at 240 E. Cascade Ave.
