Sisters sheriff's calls...

• A woman complained that she had been scratched by a fluorescent bulb held by an employee at a store. She further noted that the employee had been rude to her. She wanted the security tapes from the store seized as evidence of a crime, but a deputy explained that nothing of a criminal nature had occurred. This was not satisfactory to the woman.

• The sheriff's office posted notice of the presence of a registered predatory sex offender living near Sisters Elementary School.

• A woman reported that her ex-husband threatened her neighbors, saying he was going to burn their house down. The man told a deputy he did not recall making any such threat, but acknowledged that he was burning trash at the time.

• A 13-year-old reported that his mom was drunk and abusive and a deputy took him to his dad's house.

• Someone graffitied the bathrooms at Village Green.
