News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Sisters Folk Festival has joined with OPB in a sponsoring partnership that will extend the reach of both organizations.
"Sisters Folk Festival is thrilled to be partnering with OPB as a media sponsor. Both organizations share a common value of honoring the arts, cultural programming and education as well as celebrating the great state of Oregon," said Executive Director Brad Tisdel.
Sponsorship has remained steady for the event and several new businesses have come on board as sponsors. Black Butte Ranch will be a premier-level sponsor and will work with Sisters Folk Festival on all their events including My Own Two Hands, the Winter Concert Series and other off-season events.
Poppies, a café and nursery, will be a community-level sponsor. They will be providing all of the plant materials used for decorations throughout the Sisters Folk Festival. North Branch Construction and Design has joined the festival for the first time as a community-level sponsor.
"We are so excited to have such a successful campaign to secure and expand our sponsorships for the festival," said Development Director Katy Yoder. "We have some businesses like Bend Memorial Clinic and Ray's Food Place who are either returning or expanding their support. We can't thank them enough for their participation."
The deadline for sponsoring the festival is fast approaching, but Yoder can still "squeeze in" a few more if someone's really eager to get involved.
"We know times are extremely tight," she said, "but there's something to be said for partnering with an organization that is healthy and thriving, even in difficult times."
