Sisters salutes...

Norma (Fifi) Bailey:

Little did I realize when I was awarded my Bend-to-Santiam Junction mail route contract (with deliveries around Sisters, Camp Sherman and Black Butte Ranch along the way) back in 1979, that I had snagged that elusive "brass ring" so many try for but few get. The community of Camp Sherman (with apologies to Sisters and Black Butte Ranch, who have been there for me as well in time of need) has been that brass ring to me.

Over the years, the community has helped me through sickness, fire, and the ups and downs of life and work. They have taken me under their wing and, as I said the other day as they surprised me with a celebration of my big Six-O, they have been the "equalizer" in my life.

So hats off to Camp Sherman/Blue Lake, for making turning 60 painless and even...fun!
