Sisters in Sisters brings women together

Friends, moms and daughters and even true sisters will gather together next weekend for three days of bonding, learning and enjoying the beauty of Sisters.

Sisters in Sisters is scheduled for September 24-26, around Sisters. This 13th annual event is host to women of all ages.

Sisters in Sisters is once again hosted by FivePine Lodge and Conference Center. The ladies in attendance plan to "Embrace, Encounter, and Enjoy" the world. There will be workshops on Yoga, Confi-Dance and Meditation, a Sisters in Sisters Supper Club, Watercolor 101 and more.

The Sisters in Sisters committee has secured great entertainment for this year. Friday night Michael John will perform; Saturday, Central Oregon's own Rachel Scdoris - the only legally blind sled dog racer to finish the Iditarod, and of course the famous emcee - will talk about her adventures.

And Sisters in Sisters favorite DJ Dave will be back again.

"Participants in the 2010 Sisters in Sisters event will be out and about hiking, shopping and enjoying Sisters Country throughout the weekend," said Susi Geren, Sisters in Sisters committee chair. "This weekend is so fun! All of the participants experience Sisters and sisterhood in their own way and we just have a blast."
