Coach Diane Bremer had special praise for her team captains.

"Marisa (Calavan), Kaity (Douglass) and Mary Jane (Schulte) are doing an excellent job of on- and off-court leadership," said Bremer. "These guys have really stepped it up and set high team expectations for attitude, hustle and work ethic."

A day later the Outlaws defeated La Pine in three sets with scores of 25-7, 25-11 and 25-7. Sisters came out aggressive and played their game the entire match.

Setter Kaity Douglass said,

"Our defense is just spectacular right now, especially Sydney (Stoneback). Her passes are perfect and help us execute our offense better. Our goal as a team is to win state again this year. We definitely have the mentality to get us there."
