Harold was born in Redrock, Arkansas to Eli & Bessie (Holt) York.
He married Norma Hollinshead of Bend in 1943. Then on December 22, 1946 he married Dorothy Faye Müeller of Westhoff, Texas.
He retired from the Air Force in 1965 in Tucson, Arizona, moving back to Bend.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy York; one son, Larry York of Prineville; one brother, Ray York of Lula, Georgia; two daughters, Sandra Rosencrantz of Sisters, and Dee Marlow of Venton, Louisiana.
He has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and a brother, Elvin York.
Full military honors will be held at 69228 Yellow Daisy Lane in Sisters, Wednesday, November 10, at 2 p.m.
