News and Opinion from Sisters, Oregon
Last Thursday night, the Sisters Elementary School Rhythm Wranglers - 39 strong - knocked 'em dead at the annual Sisters Elementary School Christmas program entitled "One Day in December." The house was packed to capacity and after each number the applause from parents, friends and spectators made the building shake.
Debi Schlatter directed the extravaganza, and Julie Cash played the piano to keep the rhythm and tunes going smooth as silk. Parents helped in many areas: Stacy Stabil was a speaking-part coach; Ann Alisa Duerden put together the costumes; decorations and props were taken care of by Jana Novotny and Char Sundstrom; the program was done by Charlotte Huber; lights were run by Alex Rincon. The list of helpers goes on and on.
From the moment the lights came up, the Christmas spirit soared.
