The owner tracked the dog-napper down and recovered his dog then contacted law enforcement. Two women are now facing Theft I charges.

• In unrelated incidents, burglars hit a Sisters residence and a Sisters church.

• A man reported that his debit card had been used online for unauthorized purchases.

• A landlord reported damage to his rental. Deputies found more than 25 bags of garbage on the porch and more on a burn pile.

• A woman walked right past protesting market employees with a cart full of groceries she didn't pay for. She paid for them later, with a theft charge.

• A woman, 59, was arrested for domestic assault.
