SPRD fundraiser is a 'Cruise to the Moon'

Classic cars will "Cruise to the Moon," in a poker run fundraiser for the Sisters Park & Recreation District Foundation on Saturday, July 16.

The poker run will be followed by an evening of music, food, and a silent auction at Crescent Moon Ranch. Crescent Moon Ranch is one of the nation's largest alpaca breeding ranches and features spectacular views, waterfalls and ponds, and beautiful landscaping

The proceeds of this evening will benefit the scholarship fund at Sisters Park & Recreation District (SPRD). This fund helps make activities, sports and enrichment possible for families who might not be able to participate due to a lack of ability to pay. Last year SPRD funded nearly $40,000 in activities for Sisters youth.

The poker run begins directly following the Glory Daze Car Show and will end at Crescent Moon Ranch. If you don't have a classic car, join the party directly at the ranch.

Dinner will be presented by Slick's Que Co. Dennis McGregor will provide music.

Tickets are available for sale at SPRD and at the Sisters Area Chamber of Commerce.
