To the Editor:

The Little Cloverdale Preschool is pleased to announce that it will remain open for the 2011-2012 school year. Changes have been made in the past month that will allow the school to move forward and try to meet the needs and requests from Sisters families. The largest request from area families is the need for extended-day child care.

Currently, The Little Cloverdale Preschool is non-licensed. In order to be able to offer extended hours, TLC will need to pursue licensing the program and facility. Providing a quality educational experience that is developmentally appropriate for children will continue to be the top priority. The Little Cloverdale Preschool is a family cooperative preschool that cannot operate without the support and dedication of parent volunteers.

New board members have recently been recruited to continue to oversee the operations of the school. If you have an interest in volunteering at The Little Cloverdale Preschool or being a part of the board, please call the school at 541-923-0337.
