Deputies found people camped behind the Three Wind Shopping Center and they agreed to move on.
The sheriff's office received multiple reports of a doe following people on a trail on the outskirts of town. A deputy and an animal control technician responded but couldn't find the deer. A runner on the trail told them that the deer has lived in the area for years and has done no one any harm. The runner opined that people on the trail should realize that they are in the woods and may have encounters with wildlife.
A man was caught fishing in a private pond, apparently ignoring the "No Trespassing" signs.
Deputies responded to a report of underage drinking and pot smoking on the Crooked River Grasslands. The "Punk Rock Club" was out camping. There were no underage participants and no signs of illegal drug use. A deputy advised the group to control campfires and clean up after their festivities.
An unknown person or persons entered Sisters High School, unrolled toilet paper, strewed screws on the floor and discharged a fire extinguisher.
Someone tendered a counterfeit $20 at a Sisters shop.
Deputies investigated a report of horse neglect in a neighborhood fraught with ongoing squabbles. The horses appeared to be of healthy weight; some of them seemed to be in need of attention from a
farrier.
A man got upset about electrical problems at his rental; the landlord didn't like being yelled at over the phone.
