A Starry Summer Night will benefit schools

Starry Summer Night' featuring the acclaimed High Street Band is set for Friday, August 12, at 6:30 p.m. at Aspen Lakes Golf Course in Sisters, to benefit the Sisters Schools Foundation.

The 10-piece band High Street will entertain, playing their signature brand of jazz, swing, blues, oldies and standards. The evening will include an opening set by the Sisters High School Jazz Combo, a barbecue dinner catered by Aspen Lakes' Brand 33 Restaurant, dancing outside under the stars and a live and silent auction.

The Sisters Schools Foundation supports programs and activities at Sisters Elementary, Middle and High Schools.

The Sisters School District is facing more than $1.3 million in budget cuts in the coming year.
