Lloyd David Morrell January 7, 1942 - August 3, 2011

Lloyd David Morrell passed away of pancreatic cancer the morning of August 3, 2011. He was born in Milton, Massachusetts, and grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where he attended West Anchorage High. Lloyd graduated from the University of Puget Sound and raised his family before moving to Sisters.

Many people knew Lloyd from Sisters Hardware, the business he started, where he could be found with his best buddy Orvis the Golden Retriever. Lloyd's favorite pastime was fly fishing, particularly on the Metolius River.

Lloyd is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Ruth Raizin, son and daughter-in-law, David and Krissy Morrell, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Rennie Morrell, and sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Kirk Wilson. Lloyd was predeceased by his wife, Liz Morrell, and parents Lloyd and Claire. His friends and family will sorely miss his kind spirit.
