A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Cascade Avenue near Oak Street. The injured man was taken to St. Charles Medical Center for treatment.
A 36-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault.
A woman reported that a piece of plywood flew off a truck hitting her vehicle as she drove on Highway 126. The incident caused minor damage to her vehicle. She flagged down the driver who exchanged information with her; the driver said he didn't have insurance.
A man reported receiving unwanted texts and calls that he wanted to stop. A deputy left a voicemail for the subject, who called and left a message saying that he'd stop calling.
A deputy started to take a report about overdue hikers on the South Sister; as he was taking the report, they all showed up.
A deputy checked on a possible drunk driver pulled off to the side of the road. Turned out the driver had decided he was too tired to drive and had pulled off the highway to rest.
Campers blocked an irrigation ditch with debris - apparently unaware that it was, in fact, an irrigation ditch. Ditch riders wanted them educated, not
charged.
