Sisters business at a glance

• Advantage Dental Clinics, LLC recently purchased Dr. Brad Braman's former practice and has located a clinic at 354 W. Adams Ave.

Dr. Nicole Youngers will lead the Sisters Advantage Clinic. Dr. Youngers previously practiced at the Advantage Clinic in Medford. She received her degree in dentistry from University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

Advantage is dentist-owned and operated with headquarters in Redmond. Their mission statement is: "To provide dental leadership, service and access to care to our communities in a professional, entrepreneurial and sustainable manner."

• Sisters contractor Duey Brothers Custom Homes and Remodeling won the "People's Choice Award" for their green home project at 1060 N.W. Baltimore Ave. in Bend.

This was the only award given at the tour and was voted on by everyone that attended.

Among many other features, the home has the first permitted rainwater harvest system for non-potable water use installed in the city of Bend.

• Cork Cellars will host music by Jeremy Storton in their new location in Melvin's Fir Street Market this Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

• Thyme Restaurant has closed its doors. The owners hope eventually to lease the space to an appropriate owner/operator restaurant.
