Sisters sheriff's calls...

• Something went bump in the night. A woman reported a burglary in progress. A deputy responded and found the building secure - except for a suspiciously empty platter on the floor... and a dog with almond roca traces in its teeth.

The dog owner was advised to watch for signs of chocolate poisoning.

• Authorities were set to mobilize search and rescue for a hunter reported late returning from the woods. The hunter checked in; he had been successful and was late getting his animal out of the woods.

• A trailer and a city building were tagged with graffiti. Police are investigating the incidents.

• A man was ranting in a local eatery and broke a light fixture with a water bottle. He was later arrested for DUII.

• A deputy arrested a 19-year-old man for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop.

• A 20-year-old was popped for DUII and minor-in-possession of alcohol.

• Deputies removed firearms from a home as part of the enforcement of a stalking order.

• Several burglaries were reported in the area east of Sisters.

• A man was warned not to dump his household trash in a city receptacle.
