The family of Faye Eileen Waltosz would like to say their parting goodbye to their honored mother, who fought a valiant effort battling cancer. She went to her Savior November 28, 2011.
She was born February 21, 1935 in Bordulac, North Dakota to John and Mabel Marlow. She was a sibling of eleven children. She moved to Hoquiam, Washington, in 1951 and met her true love; Phillip Waltosz, they were married in 1953. He preceded her in death in 2004. They lived in Washington State and Oregon, and their final residence was in Central Oregon in 1978. She supported her husband in several businesses until their retirement. Faye was an avid square dancer with several groups in Redmond and Bend. She was a devout Catholic and worshiped at Redmond and Sisters churches. Her passion was teaching the youth of Catholicism.
Her most precious part of her life was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Garrett (Laurie), Redmond; John (Lynn), Bend; Michael (Susan), of Sisters; and Thomas (Wendy), of Sisters. The family blossomed after the marriages of her sons to 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family celebrations were quite festive. The family extends their thanks for all the prayers and support during this extended illness. Remembrance in lieu of flowers to St. Edward the Martyr Catholic Church in Sisters.
Funeral Mass was held Saturday, December 3, at St. Edward's.
