Musicians offer intimate performance at The Barn

Sisters natives Benji Nagel, Raman Ellis, Travis Ehrenstrom and John Morton will perform in a songwriter's evening on Thursday, December 22, at The Barn (68467 Three Creek Rd., Sisters). The show begins at 7 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $5 at the door.

Each member of this performance is a graduate of Sisters High School and its Americana Project.

Guitar virtuoso Benji Nagel has spent the last four years performing in and around the Ashland area with friend Raman Ellis. They've developed a unique collaboration of timeless original music in the vein of folk singer-songwriter duos.

Travis Ehrenstrom spent most of 2010 and part of 2011 playing in Seattle band "The Courage." Ehrenstrom returned to Central Oregon in April of last year area and has started to focus on solo singer-songwriter music.

John Morton currently resides in Ashville, North Carolina, where he is pursuing his work as a folk singer.
